Sara billed me for ridiculous administrative things that should be included in her $300/hr fee. She filed for my divorce in the wrong county which set me back an entire month. I questioned if she ever actually served my ex-husband with proper divorce papers because when I asked her for a copy of th...e Return of Service (after I fired her), the dates on the Return of Service didn't make sense to my case. I reported her to the Ethics Committee in Colorado, but they said I'd have to hire a lawyer for legal malpractice to prove that she did not properly serve my ex with papers. I can't afford anymore lawyer fees because her fees came to total more than our marital assets were worth. So now I am warning people so that they don't make the same mistake I did. They made the most stressful time in my life even more stressful. I fired them before the closing of my case and was SO happy with the attorney I hired after firing Sara and Jim Keane.
