Jonathan Leinheardt

Jonathan Leinheardt is an accomplished trial attorney with extensive experience in the areas of elder law, civil and probate litigation, domestic relations, and criminal defense.

Mr. Leinheardt consistently achieves valuable results for his clients both in and out of the courtroom through passionate advocacy and care. His unique, dynamic experience investigating and prosecuting racketeering and organized crime as a Queens County (NYC) Assistant District Attorney, along with his vast trial and appellate experience, enables him to reach favorable outcomes for clients at all stages of representation in a variety of legal matters.

Since 2015, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of REACH Charter School in Denver, one of the first and only elementary schools in Colorado providing a fully inclusive learning experience for students with disabilities, as well as for their non-disabled peers. As Chair of the Board’s Governance Committee, Mr. Leinheardt manages the establishment of policies, practices, and procedures related to nonprofit organizations, monitors compliance with federal and state regulations by providing prudent and timely guidance to the board, and reviews and approves changes recommended by management, including issues regarding disclosures, policies and ethical considerations.

Mr. Leinheardt is now in his second year serving as Co-Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Boulder County Bar Association, and will continue focusing on the needs of older adults, people with disabilities, and at-risk individuals.

Mr. Leinheardt also enjoys coaching his son’s ice hockey team, the Colorado Ice Wizards, where he also serves as counsel to the Board of Directors.
