Our mission is to ensure our clients receive equal access to justice regarding civil legal issues that significantly impact their lives. We provide customized, discounted legal services in family law, landlord-tenant, and consumer debt matters.
Bridge to Justice’s mission is to “bridge the gap” by assisting individuals who do not qualify for free legal services through Boulder County Legal Services or other legal aid providers but who cannot afford a private attorney.
For those who qualify, we charge a reduced sliding-scale rate for our representation as described below. We provide limited-scope, or "unbundled" legal services, or full-scope representation.
We provide services to clients based on the 2018 HUD Low Income Guidelines. Clients cannot have assets greater than the income cap, excluding primary residence and primary vehicle. Please refer to our website for current income ranges.
Fee Schedule as of May 1, 2018:
Clients Earning Between 0% to 50% of Area Median Income (AMI) in Boulder County:
$115 per hour for out-of-court services
$135 per hour for in-court and mediation services
Clients Earning Between 50% to 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) in Boulder County:
$125 per hour for out-of-court services
$145 per hour for in-court and mediation services
