A CLIENT-FOCUSED APPROACH TO LAW
You want to work with a lawyer who treats you with compassion, respect and understanding while working to reach the best possible outcome. You have come to the right place. In addition to over two decades of legal experience as a judge, district attorney and private practice attorney, Care Enichen has compassion for your situation. Whether she is handling your defense or advocating for your rights in a family court, Care listens as much as she talks in order to develop a clear understanding of each client’s unique circumstances, short- and long-term objectives.
Care was appointed as a county court judge in Boulder in 1995 and served in that capacity for fifteen years. Before that she was a traffic magistrate for one year and a deputy district attorney for seven years.
As a judge, Care presided over hundreds of hearings and jury trials. Her cases included DUIs, traffic offenses, misdemeanors and felony preliminary hearings. Her civil cases included protection order cases, landlord/tenant cases, and other civil disputes. As a magistrate, Care presided over primarily traffic and misdemeanor cases but also rotated as a domestic relations magistrate. As a district attorney, Care prosecuted misdemeanor offenses, juvenile petitions and felony cases.
Care's practice includes both criminal and family law cases. She handles DUIs and misdemeanor, juvenile and felony cases. In domestic relations cases (divorce) Care handles cases from the initial filing to any post-decree matters.
Care received her J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. She received her B.A. in sociology from Miami University of Ohio.
Care has lived in Boulder for thirty years. She and her family like to run, ski, hike and cycle. Care and her daughter both volunteer for a local charity organization.

My divorce process originally began 3 years ago, in another state,...

Best Lawyer in Colorado!
I've never been involved in the criminal justice system before. For me, to this day, one of the most scarest times of my life. My livelihood, my reputation, my self-esteem were all in jeopardy. Care has had many years of experience and her familiarity with legal professionals, such as Judges and DAs...

Some attorneys may completely focus you on those legal details at the expense of big picture...
