Jessica Higgins Catlin was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 2001 and in the federal district court in 2004. She specializes in estate planning, probate administration, probate litigation, guardianships, conservatorships, family law, appellate advocacy, and civil litigation.
Ms. Catlin was a member at Stevens, Littman, Biddison, Tharp & Weinberg, LLC until October, 2020. In October, 2020, Ms. Catlin joined Hurth, Sisk and Blakemore, LLP, ("HSB"), and in 2023, HSB merged with former partners and became Strickler Brennan Catlin, LLC. In 2024, the firm name changed to Strickler Catlin, LLC.
Jessica served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Lael Montgomery in 2001-2002. She was the Boulder County Bar Association’s Co-Chair of the Elder Law Section from 2012 – 2016.
Jessica enjoys the Colorado outdoors to the fullest with skiing, hiking, trail running, and spending time with her family. She is also the past President of the Board of Directors for the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, served on theBoard for the Boulder County Bar Foundation, and in January, 2023, joined the Board for Lake Eldora Race Team, operating the Eldora Mountain Ski Club.
