Your future is in excellent hands with Daryl on your side
I hired Daryl to help me navigate post-divorce litigation initiated by my ex-husband. Daryl used his 40+ years of navigating divorce litigation against "difficult" opponents and their attorneys and helped to ensure not only my survival after 12 months of their bullying through the legal system, but ...

Daryl is an amazing lawyer
I had the best experience with Daryl, who helped me through my divorce. He is empathetic, thoughtful, prepared and smart. He tries to find common ground but fights hard if the other side acts unreasonably. I always had the sense that we was much more engaged in the case than the opposing counsel. I ...

Poor Judgement with Poor Financial Capabilities
Daryl James on multiple occasions made decisions quoting financial information that he just did not understand. He once quoted using funds for personal use that had already been allocated and paid to corporate debt service, How is one to use money in the future that has already been paid to corpora...
While the author of this comment remains anonymous, I believe that this case involved a request by the author, a divorced parent of children attending a private school, to remove the children from their school. Financial information concerning the author's business was presented as part of an argument that the school tuition was not affordable. The evidence did not support the author's contention, so I decided that the children would remain in their school, which was meeting some important needs of the children. The tuition itself was a relatively small part of the author's overall financial picture and the adverse effect on the children of granting the author's request would have been very significant. Also, there was another way for the author to obtain greater financial relief than I was empowered to decide, which was mentioned in my decision. I can certainly understand the author's displeasure about my decision. However, the court upheld my decision upon appeal.

Daryl is top notch
I knew Daryl James through working with him over a thirty-five years time frame as a non lawyer who worked professionally in the legal field. Out of the hundreds of attorneys I met during these years, it was Daryl whom I picked when my wife decided to end our long marriage. He was just how I knew h...

Trust & Confidence
Daryl offered counsel in a no-nonsense method that allowed me to approach separation with complete trust in him and the process. Daryl's experience and expertise of how things were very comforting during a very difficult time in my life.
"I endorse Daryl James for his knowledge, skill, professionalism, and human civility. I am familiar with Daryl's legal work in two ways: 1) when he has been opposing counsel in Collaborative Law Divorces; and, 2) when I have facilitated and mediated Collaborative Divorce proceedings in which he represented one of the parties. Daryl really "walks the talk" in Collaborative Law. In the matters I have been involved in with him, he has used his knowledge and experience constructively for both the protection of his clients and the productive engagement of each party and professional involved in the case. Daryl's experience shows. His understanding of both legal and non-legal needs of his clients is exemplary. This legal and non-legal expertise is clearly must be an asset to ALL his clients."
"Daryl is the type of attorney who makes me proud to be a member of the legal profession. Regardless of the complexity or difficulty of the case, Daryl practices with integrity, professionalism and care. For over 30 years Daryl has been honing his craft with the aim of better serving the needs of his clients. If you are looking for an attorney who will meet you where you are and tailor your case towards your needs, I highly recommend Daryl K. James."
