My family is so incredibly grateful to Michael. I am a permanent resident now thanks to him! Michael helped me with my asylum application, work authorization and marriage green card application. Michael McCarroll is a great immigration lawyer who I would highly recommend to everybody who needs an immigration lawyer. My husband was in ICE detention and we were told he would more likely not be able to bond out but if he could he would get a bond of $20,000-$30,000 and we hired Michael and he g...ot my husband out on a $5,000 bond which is rarely ever heard of. Then of course we kept Michael on as our attorney to keep my husband out of removal proceedings and to obtain his green card. Even though my husband could have switched his case to California which is where we live but we kept his case in Denver Colorado because we wanted Michael to represent him. Yes we spent more money traveling back and forth to Colorado but it was worth every penny. I know a friend whose husband was fighting his case in California for 10 years and paid $15,000 and still got deported. So going to Colorado in order to have a great lawyer was worth it. Michael was always on top of everything. Made sure we had papers handed into him on time...had phone conferences with us...meetings...and advised us on what to do with my husband's DUI case which is what got him in ICE detention in the first place. He is very straight forward and will tell you how it is and doesn't sugar coat it which I liked a lot because that's what we needed to hear. He wasn't afraid to say "hey if you don't do this he will get deported so get it done" lol. Great motivation. Honestly though It motivated us harder to do what we needed to do and get the paperwork we needed to get. He is very knowledgeable about immigration laws...what helps your case and what doesn't and he will do everything he can to help you win your case. Most lawyers charge $10,000 we we're lucky enough to be one of his first clients back in 2016 so we got a great deal but by far he is the cheapest around. Plus he actually cares about the individual cases and people he represents. He was always checking on my husband's DUI case and making sure he was being represented well for that case. Most cases like my husband's case take 5-6 years to get resolved and my husband's only took exactly 3 years. It would have been 2 1/2 years but my husband's immigration judge retired so his case had to be continued with another judge. But 3 years later my husband recieved his green card yesterday all because of Michael. Without Michael's advice on completing A.A. meetings and community service there is no way my husband would have received his green card. He is the best because of his knowledge about immigration laws and knowledge about how to prove to the judge he deserves his green card. The night before his trial he met with us for about 3 hours to prepare us for that day. He was there with us until late and had court early the next day. His dedication to his clients is astounding. I can't even begin to explain how grateful we are to him for everything he did for us. We are forever in his debt. I really do mean it when I say He is THE BEST!!! and we plan on using him again for when my husband becomes a citizen.

We hired Michael one month ago to represent my fiancé in a immigration deportation case that has been going on for 6 years. Our previous attorney was getting nowhere and actually closed her business doors and left town after we paid her several thousand dollars to represent him. With a court date ...in four weeks we interviewed several attorneys to ensure we went with the best one. In the end we hired Michael because he was the most knowledgeable and up to date with current immigration laws. He was also the most affordable. We couldn't be more happy with our decision! After our consultation, with our next court date in just a month Michael quickly filed a notice to terminate citing recent changes in immigration laws. We had court this morning at 9am and I am so happy to say my fiancé's deportation case was dismissed!! We didn't even have to go through a trial, it was just dismissed. We were in and out of court in 20 minutes. I couldn't believe it when the judge said he was terminating the case. Had it not been for Michael's knowledge of the recent changes in the immigration law who knows what could have happened if it went to trial. This whole process has been a learning experience for us. So many attorneys out there quoted us $8,000-$10,000 to represent my fiancé, Michael's fees were nowhere near that. NONE of the other attorneys we met with were aware of these changes in immigration laws that benefited my fiancés case. All the other attorney's we interviewed charged a $50-$100 consultation fee, Michael did not charge us anything for the consultation. Our first phone call with Michael we knew he was going to be a sincere and caring attorney, he must have spent 30 minutes on the phone while we explained the case, this was before we even went in for our consultation. Bottom line is this, we have met with many many immigration attorney's in Denver. Michael was by far the most knowledgeable, sincere, caring, attentive and affordable attorney in Denver. We would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who finds themselves in deportation proceedings. He really knows his stuff and is up to date on current immigration law. We have learned these laws change frequently and you need an attorney who stays up to date on the changes. Unfortunately there are too many immigration attorney's out there who take advantage of their clients. They really don't know the law, they over charge their clients, and don't care the way they should about their clients. I can assure you this will never be the case with Michael. He has given us our life back. For 6 years we have lived in fear that my fiancé may be deported. We can't thank him enough!
