Katherine Mulh Esq.

Background

Kate Mulh joined Kalamaya Goscha in 2024 after graduating with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Hailing from the Buckeye State, Kate graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminology & criminal justice studies with minors in history and political science.

During her time at DU, Kate sought out as many experiential opportunities as possible including as a family law clerk for two semesters, as an extern for the Office of the Municipal Public Defender in Denver, and as a Student Attorney in the DU Criminal Defense Clinic for multiple semesters. These opportunities allowed Kate to work with clients early on in her career and hone her trial and negotiation skills.

Philosophy

Every legal case is different, and every client requires a unique and individualized approach. By practicing client-centered lawyering, Kate zealously advocates for her clients’ goals whether those goals include taking a matter to trial, negotiating with an opposing party to resolve a case without extensive litigation, or anywhere in between.

Advocacy

From her first year in law school, Kate has actively and enthusiastically advocated for clients in the areas of family law and criminal defense and earned recognition for her top performance in DU’s pro bono Criminal Defense Clinic.

Since then, Kate has expanded her advocacy at Kalamaya Goscha by handling family law and criminal defense cases. Understanding that these areas of law touch on the most emotional, stressful, and personal facets of our lives, Kate is committed to providing an empathetic, compassionate listening ear and unwavering advocacy for her clients.

Outside of the Courtroom

When she is not in the office or the courtroom, Kate spends her time hiking and camping, reading as many books as she can get her hands on, attending concerts, and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer with her husband, Mike, and their rescue dog, Stella.
