My wife and I were involved as non-ticketed injured parties in two automobile accidents in 2011. We have just concluded 3-3/4 years of negotiations stemming from those accidents, with the help of our excellent attorney, Ms. Rebecca Albano. This process involved extended communication with represe...ntatives of three insurance companies, the drivers / car owners and their attorneys, plus administrative representatives from more than a dozen medical firms and therapeutic treatment providers. Ms. Albano took care of all the myriad of details, red tape, and paperwork as our legal representative. At one point, she provided a five-inch stack of accumulated documentation copies to a doctor with the information necessary for him to conduct a comprehensive interview and form an objective medical opinion. We were assigned to work with her from the start, and she was always available to meet as we had questions, progressed with treatments, and submitted innumerable records and bills. Her guidance and recommendations on the litigation process were invaluable, saving us lots of time and headaches. She also was sincerely concerned for our well-being and healing progress, and suggested additional diagnostic / therapy resources to us to help speed our recovery. We found Ms. Albano to be consistently tough and proactive on our behalf, and very well informed on the whole legal morass with which we were suddenly confronted. We would have been immediately overwhelmed and outnumbered, had it not been for her expertise and caring. She kept us informed, gave us good advice based on her broad experience, and always explained our alternatives then let us make the final decisions along the way. Naturally, we followed her as she left the law firm where we first met, and initiated her own business. We had built up a great deal of confidence, trust, and rapport with Ms. Albano. She continued to represent us well as we concluded the first settlement, then moved through final mediation on the second. We feel that Ms. Albano was instrumental in negotiating fair agreements, which provided enough money to pay all of our medical / treatment / related bills, her own fees, and left enough for us to continue with some necessary ongoing rehab / maintenance treatments. She worked hard and successfully for us, and we will definitely call upon Ms. Albano if we have need for an attorney in the future.
