Marcy L Rothenberg-Romer

Marcy Rothenberg-Romer has handled numerous cases over the last 43+ years involving both high conflict situations, situations involving amicable resolution and everything in between. These include dissolution of marriage, legal separation, contested and non-contested custody matters, parental responsibility matters, child support matters, dependency and neglect matters, high conflict matters adoption, same sex marriage/divorce, pre and post nuptial agreements, etc. Marcy has expertise in the area of Narcissistic Personal Disorder as well as addiction issues and other mental health issues. She is very dedicated to representing each and every client zealously and making sure that the process creates the least amount of stress as possible on her clients as well as any minor children involved given the difficult circumstances. Marcy treats each case individually as no two cases are alike and makes certain that all the many deadlines are met. She is assisted by her paralegal Tiffany Bae, who is highly qualified, has great attention to detail and is always there for our clients to assist them with the process as well. Marcy is passionate about making sure each and every client is treated in a respectful manner given the difficulty of their circumstances.

Marcy provides both traditional legal services and “Unbundled Legal Services” a/k/a “customized client services” or “limited scope representation” (collectively ‘LSR’). This is when an attorney and a client agree that the attorney will perform some, but not all, aspects of the client’s legal matter. The client is responsible for handling any and all aspects of his or her own case for which the attorney has not been retained. This allows the client to choose the level and scope of representation he or she desires and provides predictable control over the cost of various legal services.

 In her free time, Marcy enjoys traveling, theatre, the Broncos,  the Colorado mountains, playing with her Golden Retreivers Sophie and Belle, and  mostly, spending time with her wonderful family-- Husband Frank and daughter Marissa. She is a compassionate listener whose dedication to her clients, creativity, and unparalleled work ethic make her a tireless advocate for her clients. Marcy takes a very hands-on, personalized approach to every case and endeavors to form a relationship with her clients based on trust, dignity, and respect. She is sensitive and aware of the very difficult time her clients are going through and strives to approach each case in a way that protects her clients' interests and allows them to move on with their lives.
