Peter Anthony Garin

Peter did a great job with my case. When we first met, he did a thorough job of gathering details, and walking me through both the legal and relational processes required from beginning to end. He and his team ensured that I received all case related communications and allowed me to define the amou...nt of communication I needed to remain comfortable throughout the entire process. His team helped me to keep legal costs down by providing the information I needed directedly, even when I was stressed and could have easily used additional time digging for more detail should they not have proactively provided it to me. During the case, Peter had the foresight to schedule court conferences that didn't appear to me at the time that we would use. That leverage of experience saved me thousands of dollars and provided situational legal relief when we utilized that time with the court. Peter demonstrates his understanding of law and did a highly competent job using that knowledge to help me in my case. I was referred to Peter by another military mom when my son was currently attending with her son. He came highly recommended and I am grateful I took another chance with a lawyer. Most lawyers asked for $4500-$6000 as a retainer fee for my high conflict case. He charged a split of the cost so we could move forward seeing how no one else had been able to get anywhere for me. We agreed on a monthly payment that was doable for the rest. I tried to be conscientious of his time and Kate’s by only calling when really necessary or in dire panic mode. I felt heard and stronger with him by my side; I felt protected. Coming from a family of lawyers (of course not me) I can honestly say that Peter Garin is one of the few good ones left out there and I would recommend him to anyone/everyone. I know this is a long review but it’s deserved since 2018 when he helped me get some of what I deserved to receive. I hired Peter for a DUI charge in October, 2016. With the real and terrifying possibility of Jail despite no prior interaction with law authorities, I sure hoped he was as good as I thought. But, in the sea of lawyers, how do you know 100%? You don't. But now I do. Peter is the best! he has all ...the basic qualities and excels at them---very competent, knows the laws and latest changes, is familiar with the local court systems and people. What differentiates him? all the really important stuff---he cares (a lot), he possesses integrity & honesty, he is responsive, he goes above and beyond, he does the right thing, he gives excellent counsel and advice. In my case, he got to really know me, understand what was most important in court and made certain those things happened successfully. And, I was able to speak with him easily about other concerns about my DUI. In the sea of lawyers, I can't imagine anyone better in his areas of expertise.

Mr. Garin did a very professional job handling my case and was well prepared. He was able to get my fine and points reduced for a careless driving charge in Wheat Ridge, CO.
