Firm was expensive and had high turnover

In 2020, we consulted with Kristin for an AOS/one-step case (my partner is a U.S. citizen). In 2021, we hired Leah from her firm. By the time I received my green card this year and closed the case, we spent $11k+ at this firm. That is considerably more than we expected to pay (Kristin had initially t...old us that $6,560 may cover the full course of the case). Be careful with emailing the firm because the billable hours for an attorney/paralegal to read and respond really adds up. We wish they had been clearer about that in the beginning. During the case, back and forth emails became so expensive that I became an immigration paralegal at another firm. I worked on my own case to save money, including finding where to do my medical exam and assembling our bona fides (aka proof of genuine marriage) for our I-485 interview. I insisted that our attorney appear telephonically for our interview so we wouldn’t be billed for travel time. From 2021-2023, our case was transferred to 4 different paralegals, each of whom left Knudson & Associates LLC. I work in this field – that kind of turnover is concerning and further delayed fulfilling simple requests like sending a digital copy of a receipt notice. I added 1 star for James, the attorney who took our case when Leah left the firm. James used his sense of humor to connect with us, and him and paralegal Natasha treated us with kindness. They were the only ones who recognized how much I sacrificed to be in the U.S. After the case closed, we reached out to Kristin to address our negative experience with her firm. Her response confirmed that it’s in our best interest to find a different law firm for the next step in my case. If you have a marriage-based immigration case, I recommend you go elsewhere. Knudson & Associates LLC was costly and hard to work with.

Super efficient and honest lawyer

Kristin was a super professional since the first day we met. She was always clear with the possible outcomes of our case, she provided guidance, support and permanent feedback throughout the process. Our case was always developing exactly as she said, there were no surprises and we always knew what... was going on. Kristin was always submitting enough information to cover all possible questions and concerns about our case. It was painstaking work to collect all the info she asked us, but it was totally worth it and we always knew we were in best hands. Not only she provided her expertise as an attorney, she also coached us through the process and understood how the case affected our personal & professional lives. What I like most about her is how detailed-oriented she is. You can be sure that she will spot any mistake/typo error or some wording that could generate confusion, and fix it. What you can expect from her is, full attention and dedication to your case, an explanation of all possible outcomes, to be told the true and the best professional advice you can get. She delivered excellence by the way she treated us, by the way she managed our case and by the way she used her experience and lessons learned. In addition she has an outstanding team, they were always in permanent communication with us, and picked up the phone when we needed most. They respond 24/7 to your questions and it is a fact that she passes her passion to her team. She had everyone engaged, on the same page and you always feel you are at home and surrounded by people you can trust 100%. For all the above mentioned I strongly recommend Kristin services to anyone who needs the best attorney

Astounding effort

This has been a great experience working with Kristen and Eric. They understood exactly what was required to meet the myriad of regulations. In my case they also succeeded in getting a National interest waiver for my previous work. This was done efficiently and with the utmost sympathetic guidance a...nd support to me and my wife. I am so grateful ! Hendrik

Excellent Service!

From my experience with Ms. Knudson working on my naturalization case; overall I can say that she is intelligent, well informed, responsive, and very dedicated lawyer. Something that distinguishes Kristin from the rest is that she genuinely cares about her clients, she was always available via phone ...or email to answer questions, works diligently with attention to details, and always achieve results. I am impressed with her excellence in providing top quality legal representation and I highly recommend her to anyone that needs immigration legal advice or service.

Thanks from Vitaly's family for help us win asylum case!

Kristin was God's hands for us during this period of time. She provide us great help in preparation and representation of our asylum case. She always was polite, sincere and showed genuine interest to our case and needs. She has done a great work in order to prepare questions, find support material, ...find amazing expert Dr. Marsh (whose testomony was crucial for the winning of the case). I could communicate with her at any time. None of my letters or suggestions were ignored. I beleive that she will serve to many other people with excellence. She is trustworthy person.
