She Never Gave Up on Our Children or Our Family

We truly cannot say enough about Miranda and what she has done for our family. From the very beginning, she has been knowledgeable, professional, honest, and completely committed to helping us through an incredibly difficult and complicated custody case. What separates Miranda from so many others ...is that she **always puts the children’s needs, well-being, and safety first.** Every decision, recommendation, and strategy throughout our case came back to what was truly in the best interest of our children. She never lost sight of why we were fighting in the first place, even during the most difficult parts of the process. Because of Miranda’s dedication and advocacy, my husband was ultimately awarded **full custody and full decision-making authority**, and we were granted permission to relocate the children to our home state. We understood from the beginning how difficult it would be to achieve an outcome like this, particularly as a father asking the court for custody and an out-of-state relocation. Miranda never made promises she couldn't keep, but she also **never gave up on our children or our family.** She took the time to understand the entire situation, fought for what was right, and stood beside our family through court hearings, treatment and placement concerns, relocation, and countless stressful moments. When things felt overwhelming or impossible, Miranda remained focused, prepared, and determined. Today, our children are safe, supported, and in a much better place, and Miranda played an enormous role in making that possible. There really aren't words to express how grateful we are for what she has done for our family. This was never just about “winning” a custody case—it was about protecting our children and giving them the opportunity to have the stability and safety they deserved. If you are looking for a family law attorney who will be honest with you, fight for you, and most importantly **never lose sight of your children's best interests and safety**, we cannot recommend Miranda enough. We will forever be grateful that she was in our corner.

Grateful I had Miranda on my side

I'm just on the other side of a long, arduous divorce process and I was very lucky to have Miranda on my side. She guided me through an extended and complicated divorce, from negotiation to discovery, multiple rounds of mediation and a final settlement. Throughout the process her advice was clear and... helpful and I always felt like she truly had my best interest in mind. Each step of the way she would take the time to explain how the process works, then give me clear guidance. She's thorough, straightforward, and genuinely good at what she does. I never got bounced around to different paralegals. Instead I always felt her clear focus on my case. I'd recommend her without hesitation to anyone navigating a difficult family law matter.

Abandoned mid-case, non-responsive, still holding my money.

Abandoned mid-case, non-responsive, still holding my money. I hired this firm for a relocation case that should have been painfully simple. This should have been straightforward administrative work—drafting a stipulation and filing it with the court. Instead, I experienced complete negligence. The... attorney missed court-ordered deadlines and failed to follow clear instructions I provided about how to handle the case. Mid-case, after telling me “let’s jump on this” when my ex agreed to sign, she disappeared entirely. I never heard from her again. I emailed a second attorney at the firm asking if he was now handling my case. No response for three days. When he finally called, he was completely unfamiliar with my case and I had to explain everything to him from scratch. I was billed for this call. My ex-husband and I both signed the agreed stipulation on February 9th. I emailed on February 17th requesting a status update—no response. On February 19th, I called the court clerk myself and discovered the stipulation had never been filed. Ten days had passed. I called the firm and the attorney admitted he had “no idea why it wasn’t filed” and couldn’t explain why he hadn’t responded to my email. He filed it while I was on the phone with me—only because I caught the failure myself. Throughout this process, I was billed for communication I explicitly said was unnecessary, for calls that only existed because the firm made mistakes, and for work that added no value to my case. The total cost was $3,000 for what should have been simple administrative work on an agreed case. I sent a formal letter weeks ago requesting both a fee adjustment and the return of my unused retainer funds (approximately $600). I have received zero response. When I call the office, the only people who answer barely speak English and cannot help me. This feels like a scam operation. After hiring them, I found multiple other reviews describing the exact same pattern: missed deadlines, poor communication, excessive billing, being abandoned mid-case, and difficulty getting money back. I deeply wish I had read those reviews first. Do not hire this firm. You will pay for work they don’t do, receive no communication, and be left to manage your own case while they bill you for their failures.
