I have had the exact same experience as another reviewer. As a Personal Representative I hired Carl to represent myself and the estate. He has repeatedly failed to act timely, gone months without doing anything and does not respond to emails or phone calls from me as his client. It is beyond my understanding, he is has a lot of knowledge but it does no good at all because he clearly doesn't care about representing his client. My advice is to find someone else, after 10 months and a very simple estate not being settled I am going to have to fire him and get a new attorney.

Mr. Glatstein took us as clients after his partner retired. We had an initial meeting where we explained we wanted to update our will, which his partner had drawn for us a few years earlier. He said he would get back to us, but said he was busy and told us to call him in two months if he did not get back to us.
When he failed to call us back and shortly after two months passed we called him back. Essentially, we were only able to speak with the office receptionist in our three attempts to get back in touch with Mr. Glatstein. On our third call I asked the receptionist to tell Mr. Glatstein to return to us the copy of our will we had left with him--he had used it during the meeting to take notes.
We have never heard from him or from his receptionist. We were never given a reason why. He never returned the copy of our will. His personal office was in a chaotic condition--papers on the floor, all over the room.
