Best in the business.

I hired Tim when my disability carrier was stalling in paying my disability claim. I am an attorney, and had years of experience hiring and supervising other attorneys. I reached out to other attorneys I knew in Denver for a recommendation for this type of case, and heard back from two whose opinio...n I most respect that Tim was the right choice. They were absolutely right. It wasn't just that Tim won (which he did), or even that he won when I probably would not have (which is also true), it was that the briefing was exceptional. I know a good attorney when I see one, and Tim is one of the best that I've ever worked with. It is easy to hire the wrong attorney, especially if you have no idea what you're up against with these evil insurance companies. What I can tell you is that every aspect of my representation was handled at the highest level. Tim was absolutely the best hire of my career, when it mattered the most.

Exceptional for Disability Appeals/Denials

This firm handled my wife’s appeal when her LTD insurance carrier abruptly terminated her benefits. Tim Garvey represented her through the appeal process; he and his team were so helpful in gathering objective and accurate information for the appeal submission. There is no way we could have managed t...he process without their representation and still won the appeal. This firm is very thorough, organized and responsive.

Mr. Garvey receives my highest recommendation

McDermott Law and my attorney, Tim Garvey receive my highest recommendation. Mr. Garvey & Mr. McDermott were thorough, detail oriented, realistic, and passionate about their work. I also interviewed two other firms, but what stood out about McDermott and Mr. Garvey for me was the fact that th...is is the only type of law they specialize in. At the time I felt, and now have confirmation, they are the experts in Insurance Benefits and ERISA case law. By the time they started on my case, there was already a tremendous amount of correspondence, information, and context to sift through. Mr. Garvey and the team worked efficiently and collaborated with me to insure all information submitted in the appeal was correct. Most importantly, our appeal was successful, and I’m now receiving LTD benefits and corresponding treatment.
