Weston William Bohall is an associate tax attorney at Robinson and Henry, PC. Weston is licensed to practice law before various state and local taxation authorities, Internal Revenue Service, United States Tax Court, United States District Court, and in Colorado state court. He prides himself on the philosophy of Championship Tax Law, an ethos dedicated to practicing the highest standards of perfection, excellence, and commitment when representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service, state departments of revenue, and the local taxation authorities.
Weston started working at the I.R.S. Office of Chief Counsel Small Business Self Employed Division in Louisville, Kentucky. At this position, he was charged with assisting IRS attorneys with tax controversy issues, and was responsible for advising the Department of Justice and IRS Appeals Officers on tax issues associated with IRS liens, levies, and IRS administrative collection procedure.
After completing his Juris Doctorate Degree, Weston began pursuing a Masters in Taxation Degree (LL.M.) at the University of Denver where he represented taxpayers at the University of Denver’s Low Income Tax Clinic, competed in the American Bar Association’s Student Tax Challenge Writing Competition, and worked as a tax consultant assisting bank loan underwriters with tax issues associated with lending. After passing the Colorado Bar, Weston began working for the I.R.S. Office of Chief Counsel Small Business Self Employed Division in Denver where he was responsible for enforcing the government’s rights under the Internal Revenue Code in tax controversy cases before the United States Tax Court. During this time, he also worked with Professor Issac Lodico to author a tax article about Federal tax liens and levies.
In his free time, Weston tutors law school graduates who are unsuccessful in passing the Colorado Bar Exam, researches and writes articles on tax law issues, is working towards acquiring his Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) license, and judges student submissions for the American Bar Association’s Student Tax Challenge Writing Competition. Weston is also an avid snow boarder and runner who has completed both the Rock n Roll Denver and Kaiser Permanente Colfax marathons.
