William Thomas Dawson

William T. Dawson, Esq., received a B.A. in economics from the University of Hawaii in 1995, and a J.D. from Seattle University in 1998.  During law school, he clerked for the Social Security Administration's Office of General Counsel's Seattle Regional Office. After graduating from law school, he joined Social Security's Office of General Counsel's Denver Regional Office as an Assistant Regional Counsel where he mainly practiced employment law, bankruptcy, and defended Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) denials in the federal courts in Utah and Montana as a Special Assistant United States Attorney.  In 2008, Mr. Dawson opened a law firm focusing on Social Security Disability/SSI.  Mr. Dawson has been admitted to the bars of Washington State and Colorado and has argued cases in the federal district courts and before the Fourth, Ninth and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Dawson is an avid runner, triathlete and proud father of three.
