We hired Tessa to help us with a really bad builder. He was so bad that when we fired him, he placed a lien against our house. Even though we hadn't done anything wrong and were following the builder's contract, we had to go through the legal system to get the lien removed. At several junctures, ...Tessa reminded us that it would be easier to pay the builder instead of paying legal fees. Our position was that we would rather pay her than the crooked builder. We made the right choice. Tessa never wasted our time. The invoices were clear and easy to understand. She, and her team, knew who we were when we called and had genuine compassion for our situation. They were sensitive to the financial burden the legal proceedings placed on us. One of the toughest parts of Tessa's job is telling people things they don't want to hear. She did that with a velvet touch, with a grace that left us chafing as little as possible. While I hope to never need Tessa again, I am very grateful to have found her and to know she'll be there if I need her.

Tessa did incredible work for me, including drafting an outstanding demand letter that resulted in a fair and timely settlement. She acted professionally and with persistence on my behalf.
