Following a successful 10 year career in the recording industry, Tae Darnell finally decided to pursue his passion for law and in early 2008 founded The Law Offices of Tae Darnell, LLC (soon to be Darnell & Gottlieb / ) a comprehensive law firm, and US Entertainment & Sports (), an elite entertainment company. The Law Offices of Tae Darnell specialize in criminal defense, family law, corporate and civil matters while US Entertainment and Sports actively represents and assists artists and athletes with contracts, negotiations, business formation, executive management, project development, creative development, licensing, copyright/trademark/IP protection, Licensing, Marketing, Publicity, Sales and more. While Tae is dedicated to defending the US Constitution and takes an active role in criminal defense and civil and corporate matters, he has also personally worked with Grammy winners, NFL and NBA athletes and award winning members of the entertainment community. Tae is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, The CBA Sports & Entertainment Law Section, The Alternative Dispute Section and various other local and national legal organizations.

In addition, Tae Darnell has significant executive-level experience and comprehensive expertise in the recording industry. As VP of Sales & Marketing for Etherean Music, Inc., once one of the largest indie Lifestyle/Worldbeat labels in the country, Tae facilitated the release of over 65 recording projects in a 6 year period, winning 14 Album of the Year awards and securing nomination for over 40. Further, Tae has facilitated music licensing for film and television to companies including: ABC, CBS, PBS, TNT, Time/Life, Hallmark Entertainment, MTV and has created successful relationships with traditional and non-traditional music retailers such as Barnes & Noble, Borders, Tower Records, Virgin Megastores, Wal Mart, Whole Foods, Discovery Channel Stores and many more.
