Matthew Coombs is an experienced attorney in a wide variety of disciplines.
While as a student at the University of New Mexico School of Law, Matthew delved into the world of criminal prosecution at both the Office of the United States Attorney and the Office of the Attorney General for Washington, DC. Matthew also was also highly active advocating for equal rights for the LGBT community as a member of LAMBDA and as a participant in The Williams Institute Judicial Education Program and Moot Court.
Matthew got his first experience in family law as a practicing student for the University of New Mexico School of Law Community Law Clinic where he guided low income families through the process of domestic relations issues. In addition to domestic relations, the Law Clinic provided Matthew the opportunity to work with families facing insurmountable credit card and medical debt. Acting as a liaison between creditors and families, Matthew was able to negotiate workable arrangements that eventually led to complete debt resolution. Finally, Matthew also gained significant experience as a law clerk at a small civil plaintiff’s firm where he dealt with medical malpractice, product defect and other personal injury matters.
Prior to working for Gantenbein Law Firm, Matthew worked as an attorney for a government sponsored foreclosure review consultant. The unprecedented breadth and depth of the review culminated in huge payouts from some of the nation’s largest lenders that engaged in illegal and deceptive practices that were exposed with the help of Matthew’s expertise.
These experiences have made Matthew an experienced and knowledgeable advocate, who is both compassionate and aggressive in his client representation. Matthew works tirelessly to provide foreclosure help to Colorado homeowners and has become a premier foreclosure defense attorney in Denver, Colorado.
Matthew Coombs' practice at Gantenbein Law Firm includes quality representation in the fields of Foreclosure Defense, Real Estate, HOA Defense, Civil Litigation, Credit Dispute and Credit Repair, Family Law and Wills & Trusts and Estate Planning.
Prior to his legal career, Matthew had significant experience in the business side of the Hollywood entertainment industry as well as an educator in foreign countries ranging from Latin America to Asia. This variety of interests has served Matthew well in his legal career, especially his ability to relate to and serve the equally varied clients represented by Gantenbein Law Firm.
