My wife and I have been attempting to help an incredibly nice young lady from Ukraine. Her name is Hanna, and she is a hard-working and extremely nice person. Hanna was facing an uphill battle to extend the duration of her residence in the United States. I had accompanied her to the U.S. Immigration ...Office for an interview to remove the conditions of her residence and extend the time limit of her Green Card. I was not allowed to be present in the room for her interview, but after an hour had passed, she came out of the interview in a rather shaken state. She was told that she would eventually receive a letter with a decision on whether she would be able to remain in the United states. Several weeks passed, and the letter eventually arrived. The Immigration Office turned down her request to extend her time in the United States. Their explanation contained many false accusations about Hanna, and I knew that she would have to hire a law firm in order to fight the decision of the U.S. Immigration Office.
