Marcie R. McMinimee

Marcie R. McMinimee is a graduate of Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska and the University of Denver College of Law. She is a partner with the firm of Steenrod, Schwartz & McMinimee, LLP and has been with the firm since September 2003. Ms. McMinimee is a deputy public administrator for the City and County of Denver. Her practice emphasizes estate administration, guardianships, conservatorships, probate litigation, and elder law. Ms. McMinimee served on the Executive Council of the Trust and Estate Section and is a past co-chair of the Elder Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association. Prior to moving to Colorado, Ms. McMinimee practiced law for 12 years in Salem, Oregon, where her practice emphasized estate administration; estate planning; creditor’s rights; and elder law, including guardianships, conservatorships, and Medicaid planning. She is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education courses and is a member of ACTEC. 9/17
