My wife and I hired Matthew to help us with a legal dispute that arose with our neighbor. It escalated to the point where we needed legal help, but we wanted to make sure that we worked with someone who would try to de-escalate the situation wherever possible to try and come to a mutually agreeable ...solution (we do still have to live next to these people after all). So we hired Matthew - the logistics of this particular dispute were a bit unique and outside of his normal area of expertise, but he jumped in, explained all of our options in an understandable way, and worked proactively with both our neighbor and the others involved on our behalf to try and bring the situation back from a boiling point. He then effectively managed all of the legal proceedings and logistics of the case to get it resolved. Overall we got the best outcome that we could’ve hoped for, given the situation, and I think Matthew’s management of the situation was the reason for that. It could have been much worse, and while we hope not to require his services again any time soon we wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again if the need arose. He was a pleasure to work with and very effective at what he does.
