“Each of us is more than the worst thing we’ve ever done.” — Bryan Stevenson
Casey Krizman is the Founding Attorney at Krizman Law in Denver, Colorado, a firm built for one purpose: relentless, fearless criminal defense for those who need it most. Domestic violence defense is at the heart of what Krizman Law does. From the most serious felony charges to cases that others might call minor, every client who walks through our door receives the same relentless, fearless defense. Because while your case may not be a felony, it is the most important case in your world. And we treat it exactly that way.
In private practice, Mr. Krizman has compiled an extraordinary trial record of 35 Not Guilty verdicts out of 41 trials, including Not Guilty verdicts in Sex Assault on a Child, Sex Assault and Attempted Murder cases. When the stakes are highest, murder, sex assault and violent felonies, Krizman Law is the firm you call.
As a former public defender, Mr. Krizman brings rare insider knowledge of the criminal justice system. He knows how prosecutors think, how cases are built, and exactly where to attack. He previously served as a Deputy Public Defender at the Aurora Public Defender’s Office.
A Colorado native, Mr. Krizman graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he was a member of the prestigious National Trial Team. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Government and World Affairs from the University of Tampa and completed the Program on Negotiation Mastery at Harvard Business School. Prior to joining the Colorado Bar, Mr. Krizman clerked for renowned defense attorneys Michael S. Axt and Randy C. Canney.
Outside the courtroom, Mr. Krizman competes as an Ironman triathlete and has coached trial advocacy at Regis Jesuit High School, the University of Denver undergraduate program and DU Sturm College of Law. He has testified before the Colorado General Assembly House and Senate and the Aurora City Council in defense of public defenders’ rights. He is married and the father of one son, Atticus.

Amazing Attorney
Not only is Casey an absolutely amazing Attorney, he’s a phenomenal person. He helped guide me through my case, coached me on how to communicate properly with the investigators, and made sure he understood every detail of my case down to the T. In the end, the investigation was dropped and I wouldn’t...

Compassion and great outcome
Casey helped me resolve 3 outstanding warrants that had turned into a bad situation because they were not dealt with while I was ill. He was extremely compassionate and patient while we worked through the process. He also spent a lot of time working with the DA to help them understand the situation....
Thank you for the kind words! We’re glad our compassionate, patient guidance helped you work through a difficult situation, and that our coordination with the DA was useful. We appreciate your recommendation and are here if you need anything!
