Biography
Jennifer Carty is an Assistanct Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Section at the Colorado Attorney General's Office. Prior to her current job, she worked as an Associate Family Law Attorney at Robinson & Henry, P.C. Jennifer spent five years as a maritime inspections officer for the United States Coast Guard. Her strong sense of public service and regulatory compliance experience prompted her decision to attend law school. Jennifer earned her Juris Doctorate and the Constitutional Rights and Remedies Certificate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2015.
Jennifer is a JAG Officer in the United States Coast Guard Reserve. She is the current co-chair of the Public Policy Committe for the Colorado Women's Bar Association. She is also an active member of the LGBT Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association.
