I am not experienced in hiring a divorce attorney nor do I want to be. So I did a ChatGPT search for “family law, preferably female, great communication skills, familiar with common law in Colorado”. I received 3 names and I was lucky to choose Christina Friedman. And her talents are many morw tha...n my list. J Christina called me and we met immediately. She asked great questions and was thoughtful in developing with me a plan. She met every deadline, even over weekends. She was sensitive to costs. Her communication with my spouse shielded me from any needed interaction with him, even to the final divorce decree. We developed a settlement agreement that avoided involvement and decision making of a judge. She called me within minutes of the divorce being granted. Her words to me said it all- “I am so happy we were able to protect your assets for your children and grandchildren.” Christine was exactly the person I needed exactly when i was hurt, lost, confused.
