Thomas Eilif Miller Werge

Tom Werge is an attorney, businessman, and musician. He built his practice to provide efficient, high quality legal services to small and medium-sized businesses, and individuals. He previously practiced at Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell, where he represented clients in complex commercial litigation. He is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and a former law clerk to The Honorable J.E. Beshouri of the District of Columbia Superior Court. He has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for each of the last three years.

Tom’s practice focuses on litigation, business law, and music law. He has represented clients in lawsuits involving business disputes, employment, civil rights, professional liability and malpractice, real estate, franchising, family law, personal injury defense, product liability, construction, bankruptcy, insurance, and other commercial matters. Tom has broad litigation experience, handling the full scope of the process, including pleadings, motions practice, discovery, experts, depositions, trial, and appeal. Tom also represents clients in arbitration, at mediation, and in administrative proceedings including defending professional grievances.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Tom spent seven years working in business, information technology, and human resources, primarily at Level (3) Communications in Broomfield, Colorado. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University.

Tom is also an active musician. Since 1996, he has performed with his band, 12 Cents for Marvin. Over the last 20 years, the band has released five full-length albums, completed multiple tours, created a music video, and continues to perform throughout Colorado. Tom lives in central Denver, with his wife, Halie Crocker Werge, and their three children.
