Stephen Birk Baumgartner

Birk Baumgartner is by far the best attorney I have ever worked with. I trust Birk with not only my life, but also my child's life and truly cannot say enough good things about him or thank him enough for his help. Birk just completed a few complicated cases for me regarding parental responsibiliti...es, psychological parenting, and a civil protection order. The outcome was better than I could have ever hoped for. He is also my attorney for a car accident that happened during the other cases and I immediately called him, as he will now be my go to attorney for life. My mother has said too many times to count "what would you do if it wasn't for Birk, he is such a lifesaver" and that's a statement that couldn't be more true. I don't know how I would have gotten through this insanely difficult and stressful time if I hadn't had Birk as my attorney. When friends of mine hear the outcome of my case they are beyond impressed and want his number for their own legal issues (I have been asked for his number for 4 cases in the last week alone, he's that good). Birk is professional, ethical, knowledgeable and explains everything very well. He is happy to answer as many questions as you may have to ensure you understand your choices and the potential outcomes. He has a personal investment in each case that is rare with attorneys, and despite the fact that he's a very busy man he always makes you feel like a priority. Birk knows the law extremely well, and spends an extraordinary amount of time researching case law and preparing for every possible scenario. He was always two steps ahead of me with everything, and had thought of all the crazy scenarios I asked him about well in advance of me even thinking to ask. He is prepared, organized and goes above and beyond what is expected of him by his client. He's also personable and I felt comfortable sharing very private details with him because he is easy to talk to, even about the most difficult things. I never worried about unexpected costs with Birk as my attorney, as he was always up front and accurate about what it would cost. At one point I thought I owed him more money because he kept mentioning having his office manager send me a final invoice. I knew the amount of work he'd put into my cases, and when I asked approximately how much more I owed him he instead told me he actually owed me money back out of my initial retainer. I knew that wasn't the case because the amount of time we had spent in court and on the phone and meeting alone was easily the full amount of my retainer, especially with how lawyers typically bill. This just showed me even more what type of attorney and how ethical of a person he is, especially since he is worth easily two or three times what he charged me and I would have paid him more without hesitation. There's not a single bad thing I can say about Birk and I can't say enough positive things to really explain how fantastic he is. But if you are looking for an attorney who will fight your case as if it were his own life on the line, Birk Baumgartner is the one you should hire. He not only won my cases for me but got me more than I ever anticipated. Even if he hadn't won, my trust and confidence in him would still remain the same because if he couldn't do it then no one could. Knowing I had Birk in my corner made an almost unbearably stressful situation manageable and I never doubted his ability to achieve the best outcome possible for me. He completely exceeded my expectations and I am eternally grateful for his hard work and dedication.
