Stay away .. find an experienced lawyer

She was advised about the true nature and motives of the case. I had suspected she was being dishonest about the receipt of discovery on the case as the clerk and city advised me when it was provided to her. She had the audacity to even tell me she didn't want to provide all of the discovery wh...ich was another red flag. When she finally did I discovered she had lied about numerous things including the fact I didn't have a warrant for my arrest. I caught her in another lie about her contact with the DA office only to find out it was her friend from law school. She is very immature and I made the mistake of thinking she had been a lawyer for many years. After reading the discovery and discovering all the fraud I knew the detriment she was to myself and case. I made sure to set her up so to speak right before the next scheduled hearing when I planned on terminating her. Like clockwork and as predicted she fell for it with her DA friend and took an action proving exactly what I knew before retaining her. The DA and DPD were covering up major crimes against myself and family. You know it is bad when a DA and police department are still clinging to events nearly 7 years ago and ignorant enough to reference it now. Especially when the very crimes with my cell phones were reported to 3 law enforcement agencies. She had a meltdown in court and frankly began acting like a child. I sat their in disbelief telling her to calm down. She's more interested in impressing judges and DA's besides her clients. Directly related to her inexperience and the fact she should not be in solo practice. She made critical mistakes and errors and I'm glad I got what I did as I expected the DA and DPD would go through many lengths to cover up personal friends and crimes I reported YEARS ago that were covered up. Stay away and find an attorney that has 10 years of experience and not in bed with the DA office. Some people are far too emotional to sit back and use reason and analytical skills that took me 15 minutes to find after reading discovery.

Trustworthy

I talked to Rachel about a civil matter involving a mistake that the management team at my Apartment complex made. Their mistake resulted in an irreconcilable neighbor issue and I needed to move out. I consulted with her and asked if she needed to be present at the appointment with my apartment... management staff; she told me if I kept calm and worked with them in a respectable manner I wouldn't need her there. She then told me if they were unwilling to work with me she would be willing to represent me. Rachel kept my anonymity through all of this. Her advice worked; I thought I would have to pay a large termination fee, but I ended up paying nothing out of pocket. During conversation with Rachel, I recall discussing an issue and she could divulge a related precedent. She is very knowledgeable, intelligent, and well mannered. She could have told me I needed her at the appointment (over two hours of pay) instead she gave me good advice. I would highly recommend Rachel.
