MistyEwegen is an attorney with a passion for children and the environment. Her areasof concentration are Children’s Advocacy and Environmental Law. Shepractices as a Child and Family Investigator, a parenting coordinator, a Guardian ad Litem, andan Environmental attorney.

Ms.Ewegen has worked with the Center for Biological Diversirsity toprotect the Mississippi Gopher Frog. She has experience working to protect species in the District of Columbia courts. In law school she assisted environmental groups with research on the White Tailed Prarie Dog and land use planning.

Ms.Ewegen is a highly trained child advocate with experience in domestic violence parenting negotiations, dependancy and neglect, parental rights termination, adoption, and child and family investigation in domestic relations. She trained with the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center from 2004to 2006, both as an intern and in the Child Advocacy clinic.. In 2004 she worked as a Child and FamilyInvestigator in dozens of restraining order cases in Denver County Court. In 2004and 2005 Ms. Ewegen participated in the Rocky Mountain Children’s LawCenter’s Child Advocacy Clinic where she represented several childrenas a Guardian ad Litem in dependency and neglect proceedings from 2004through 2006, assisted in preparing legislation for children’s issues.

Ms. Ewegen has also worked with voting rights issues, death penalty issues, family law, and civil litigation.
