Logan R. Baseley

Logan Baseley is a partner with the firm’s Family Law practice. Drawing on his background in family law and criminal defense, Logan prides himself on providing families with steady guidance as they navigate challenging, high-conflict disputes.

Logan’s courtroom expertise was shaped by his tenure as a prosecutor, first in the 21st Judicial District Attorney’s Office, then as an Assistant City Attorney for Aurora. During this time, Logan managed a demanding caseload, handling hundreds of active cases at any given time. He served as lead counsel in approximately 20 jury trials and numerous contested evidentiary hearings.

Having transitioned to family law in 2021, Logan leverages his prosecutorial experience to advocate effectively for clients facing domestic violence-related orders and other family matters that involve criminal charges. He also handles high-stakes cases, including high-net-worth divorces, custody disputes, and common-law marriage claims involving business interests and trusts. From discovery to final settlement, Logan applies effective negotiation strategies to meet his clients’ needs.

Representative Matters:
Business asset protection - Successfully defended a business owner’s livelihood by blocking the forced sale of their business and safeguarding family gifts and pre-marital property from division in a contentious divorce case.

Prenuptial agreement litigation - Defended the validity of a client’s prenuptial agreement while securing a court-ordered award for attorney fees against the challenging party.

Interstate custody dispute - Secured the return of a child to Colorado after an unauthorized out-of-state removal by successfully exposing the opposing party’s fabricated allegations and obtaining an award for attorney fees.
