We utilized Jerome for almost a year and half for various real estate matters: contracts, property management agreements and then a dispute we had with a GC who took our money and abandoned the job. I approached Jerome about this matter in March of 23'. He gave me specific instructions on what to do ...and we followed his lead for two months. We had a phone call on 5/18 where we laid out a game plan for the next 30 days to approach the contractor about mediation/arbitration. The next week, I get these weird email form him basically saying that I hadn't provided clear information about our case. I call, email, text. Then a week and half later, without the decency of a phone call, he tells me won't represent us anymore. Mind you, Jerome had a "big case" the week before. It appears Jerome got overly busy and abandoned us halfway through the process without even the respect of a phone call or proper explanation. In my twelve and half years of being an entrepreneur this has only happen to me with contractors; never an attorney. What a guy!

Our realtors recommended Jerome Geraghty to us and we would recommend him. After a recent townhouse purchase we found out that there was an upcoming assessment that was not disclosed during the sale. After he had enough information through e-mail exchanges with us and one phone call he wrote a dema...nd letter and through the seller's counsel an agreement was reached for a portion of the assessment to be paid to us. His honesty as to what the possible outcomes could be was appreciated. For our first experience in this type of situation it was all positive thanks to Jerome.

While I’m sure my case was not his largest, he never made... me feel as if it were any less important than his other clients. He was also very informative regarding the step by step process required to achieve the desired resolution (which was achieved). Jerome isn't your normal lawyer. When we realized our seller had done us wrong, I emailed a quite few law offices immediately to find out what exactly we were looking at. This was on a Friday so I did not expect to hear from anyone until at least Monday. Jerome wrote me that Saturday telling me to ca...ll him the following Monday to talk about the issues we were having. Unlike most the offices, some of which didn't even respond, he was willing to listen to what was going on before charging an exorbitant fee. Sometimes you just want to know you even have a case, let alone the fact we were upset with our seller because of expenses we now had to pay---we don't have$500 to be told there's nothing even to stand on. I called Jerome that Monday and after discussing the minuscule amount we're asking for in contractual fairness from our seller, he was honest that we had a case but it wasn't worth us utilizing his full services. Honest. AND THEN, He kindly offered to read over our mediation letter to our seller and give minimal professional advice, because he's like, a real human being and cares. He followed through with his promise when we sent him the draft, even after 2 months of gathering all our info. He called back less than 2 days later to discuss and give us some pointers. I want to be clear that his advice was straight and to the point--but nothing elaborate. I don't want there to be a misunderstanding that Jerome works for free, haha. I just want to illustrate to everyone that he's one of the good ones. He's honest and caring, and fair. He saw 2 first-time homeowner's getting the short end and he believes in right and wrong. There is no doubt if our seller continues to be a douche, and we unfortunately have to go to court, the we will use Geraghty Law Office. We will be forever grateful for Jerome's kindness regardless of the outcome.
