Issa Israel

Issá Israel is a Colorado-licensed attorney and legal consultant with extensive experience in civil litigation, administrative law, regulatory compliance, and business advisory matters. He is the Managing Attorney of Consultus Legal dba Issa Israel Law Firm. Mr. Israel’s Denver based practice focuses on civil litigation, business disputes, administrative and licensing defense, contract enforcement, and strategic legal advisory. He regularly represents clients in matters involving regulatory compliance, business licensing, commercial negotiations, and disputes with governmental and corporate entities. His work has included high-stakes claims and negotiations involving major organizations such as the City and County of Denver, Walmart Inc., and Kroenke Sports & Entertainment LLC. He is known for combining rigorous legal analysis with practical business judgment to resolve disputes efficiently and protect client interests.

In addition to his firm practice, Mr. Israel has extensive experience providing litigation support and eDiscovery services in complex, high-value matters across the United States. As a contract attorney and litigation consultant, he has supported Fortune 500 companies and multinational corporations in antitrust, employment law, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory investigations, and mass-tort litigation. His experience includes document review, privilege and confidentiality analysis, quality control, and internal investigations for matters involving Apple, Charles Schwab, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Johnson & Johnson, Monsanto, Deloitte, and Fresenius Kabi. This background gives him a deep understanding of how large-scale litigation is evaluated, staffed, and resolved—insight that directly benefits his clients.

Before entering private legal practice, Mr. Israel operated a global business consultancy, advising clients in the United States, the Caribbean, and Asia on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, licensing, and operational strategy. He has served as a compliance officer and business advisor to clients in real estate, professional services, and regulated industries, including Amendment 64–regulated businesses in Colorado. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles in consumer advocacy and financial counseling organizations, directing multi-state operations and developing compliance frameworks to protect vulnerable consumers.

Mr. Israel is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he received the Book Award in Contract Law and competed on the National Trial Advocacy Team. He also taught political science and professional development courses as an adjunct professor at Wayne County Community College District. Mr. Israel is licensed to practice law in Colorado where he also holds an active Colorado real estate broker's license.
