Ariel Zusya Benjamin

After law school I worked for the Colorado Courts. I began as a Judicial Fellow in the 18th Judicial District from 2006 to 2007. I was then hired as Colorado's Death Penalty Law Clerk. In that position, I assisted the judges in Colorado who had active capital cases pending on their dockets including assiting in the jury selection and trials of three of those cases involving more than 10,000 perspective jurors. I have been with Springer and Steinberg since 2010 where my practice focuses on criminal defense in state and federal courts throughout the country, state and federal appellate practice, and select civil practice.

I practice law in order to speak my clients' truth to power. Despite our system of laws, there is much work to be done to bring justice and compassion to the law. My passion is to inject justice into the system, which allows me to better tell my clients' stories, to aggressively advocate for their best interests, and to win on their behalf.
