Angela Denise Boykins

I am deeply concerned about the handling of my child custody case before Judge Angela Boykins. In my experience, the court’s decision did not adequately address documented safety concerns, including substance abuse history and the child’s established primary residence with the mother since birth. Th...e ruling granted shared decision-making and school-year placement despite evidence that raised serious questions about the child’s stability and well-being. I left the process feeling that critical information was minimized and that the potential risks to my child were not given sufficient weight. Given the high stakes of custody cases involving minor children, I expected a more thorough and cautious evaluation of all safety-related factors. She neglected major testimonies pertaining to child preference, experience and parental dynamics. She should NOT be voted to keep her position in the next election. Denver made a big mistake electing her.

Angela Boykins is lazy. She does not take the time to read motions or filings prior to hearings. Her hearings are unproductive, and only make matters worse. Although the outcome of my case came to my favor, my experience with Angela Boykins was horrible. She acted tired, bothered unaware… acted off e...motion rather intelligence or reason. Angela Boykin needs to be removed from the courts immediately before ruining more lives. The mistakes she made through my hearings by just not paying attention caused myself, my child and his father great stress. Her unorganized style caused me thousands of unnecessary attorney fees. We came to the courts for help, and Angela only made matters worse and caused father and I to fight versus come together. There is no place in the court systems for Angela Boykins and her behavior. She should be removed immediately.

Words can’t describe how disappointed we are with the practices of this Judge! Because of her dereliction of duty, she has ignored 76 pages of CFI reports, and she has put my daughter's life in danger. She is not a person much less a qualified judge. She disregards the lives of people and the hard wo...rk of investigators who serve the public. My daughter's life is in danger because she was to lazy to read CFI reports and my daughter's school and friends' letters. Everyone wants my daughter to come back home, but this unqualified judge just send my daughter to a absiver's hand. I will be following up with more disputes shortly.. Shame on you judge!
