Jan Lawrence Hammerman

NOTE: This site requires a minimum of a one star rating. That's at least one too many, for this joker. I hired Jan Hammerman to represent me in a lawsuit. After months of filings and delays, the case suddenly screeched to a halt. He ultimately told me that he withdrew the case without my knowledge or... permission. Naturally, I retained counsel, who informed me that Jan had missed a filing deadline, and this was the true reason my case was dismissed. I obtained a judgement against him. I have had to haul him into court three times since. The guy keeps making promises to pay that he doesn't follow though on. Yes, he's made some payments. However, five years after entry of an order of judgement, it remains unsatisfied. It's hard to accept that he gets away with this behavior. I've deliberately avoided posting about my bad experiences with him, fearing that might hurt my chances of getting paid. Enough. Do yourself a favor. Find Another Lawyer!
