Thomas A. Ramunda Jr. has a Martindale-Hubbell BV Distinguished Rating- “Very High Standards in Both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards” Before becoming a distinguished Colorado attorney, Tom was born and raised in Bergen County New Jersey.  After graduating from High School, Tom decided to venture west.  He attended The University of Dayton in Ohio. Dayton proved to be an exceptionally rewarding experience. He earned a BA in Political Science and then returned to the East Coast. He secured paralegal positions with large corporate law firms in New York and in Boston. In pursuit of his law degree, Tom chose to attend the prestigious University of Denver College of Law mainly because of their excellent Student Law Office Program. Tom developed his passion for litigation the summer of his first year of law school, while enrolled in the student law office program, which offered practical real court experience. Upon his graduation in 1992, Tom decided that The Centennial State, with its pleasant climate and beautiful terrain, its extensive network of family and friends, and its impressive legal community, would be the right place to begin his law career.

Tom began his post-degree legal work as a trial attorney in Colorado Springs. He served faithfully for eight years as a public defender, trying countless cases ranging from misdemeanors to complex felonies including homicides and achieving significant success. In 2000, Tom transitioned into the world of private practice and opened his primary office on Mainstreet in Parker, Colorado. Tom maintains a second convenient location at the Denver Tech Center. Tom handles matters Family Law and Criminal Matters in Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, Douglas, El Paso and Jefferson counties. Tom routinely appears in the following Municipal Courts: Parker, Centennial, Denver, Castle Rock, Littleton, Lone Tree and Broomfield. Tom’s early successes as a talented litigator has been ever-present throughout his career and so, too, has been Tom’s ability to avoid unwarranted litigation in his cases. Tom has the experience and wisdom to know the best legal approach in each unique situation.
