In 2017/18 I was detained in Douglas County being accused of de-frauding someone out of goods more than $10,000- $50,000. No matter how many times I tried to explain my innocence & that I actually had permission to perform these actions; Douglas County would not hear me out! They wanted to make me ...into this hard mass criminal who robs people of life. Being young and also African American the system is not an ideal place to be when you are striving for greatness. I feared this would scar me for life leaving me wondering what would life really be like for my family and children and my chances of completing law school. One day after 3yrs I built the courage up and faced my fear and contacted Attorney Landress who was very kind, a good listener of detail, spiritual led and nonetheless a straight bullet that motivated me to conquer my problems. He let me know that the journey would not be easy but he re-assured me that if I was ready to take on this battle he would be willing to ride all the way no matter the outcome. I hired him one day later encouraged that he was definitely the right choice & that I didn't need anyone else to do this job. In this moment I felt as if GOD spoke through him to me; he literally addressed majority of all my issues without me ever having to say much at all, it was MIND-BLOWING ! We researched, and much of the evidence I had he never understood why they didn't dismiss this case. Detail of evidence: Letters (notarized), receipts, & Vital records/documents showing I actually told the truth. He knew at this point without a doubt this case was possibly provable based on the information but once again they fought against it saying I was being held responsible. They offered many different pleas which we never accepted and we continuously went to the drawing board thinking of new approaches for them to get this same information. Landress then called me one night I was out with my family and said I think I figured it out but its no guarantee it will work but lets throw it at them and see what we get ( I was so excited), then he called back and told me we no longer had the same DA some probably shouldn't use that approach anymore. Not only was this case becoming time consuming but this case was even to unique to him seeing the facts! Jason literally worked relentlessly and walked with me through this whole experience!!! He really made me feel like more than my client, I pictured him as family & will always cherish him as family because of the way he treated me through such terrifying experience, I mean truly amazing beyond words. Patient is an understatement ,He got to know my children me and my wife and over time no matter what the news was good/bad he was always there. After a few months we heard nothing due to covid but once things started to open back up we started to get more deeper into the details of things so we can come up with a resolution to the issue. After such a long wait without hearing anything Jason called me on 11/15/21 @8:45pm est and let me know that Douglas County has officially moved for a FULL DISMISSAL and that they would be entering a motion to TERMINATE with no STIPULATIONS. I am pleased with his work, honesty and dedication to his craft and only GOD would be-able to award him with the gift that he deserves because what he has done for me and my family I can never repay him for. I pray on every level that GOD provides him with all of his desires that he longs for and bring him much more success in his future endeavors & ONE DAY! I can be half of the Attorney/Judge that he has been to me. THANK YOU!!

Mr. Landress is fantastic at what he does. I needed a professional in divorce cases considering mine went to trial and he did not back down. He pays attention to the details, even the smallest detail comes to light with his skill. He is fantastic in trial, he isn’t afraid to stand up and he doesn’t b...ack down, he will fight for you no matter who you’re up against. He puts in the time and the work allowing you to feel like you’re not fighting alone, and that someone truly cares about you. He is very honest about his professional opinion and will give it to you straight. If you come upon the unfortunate event of trial, he doesn’t quit, he stood by me every step of the way and fought for my rights. He has an amazing way of putting tremendous pressure on the opposing council, nothing gets past him. He is relentless in his quest for justice. To thank Jason Landress is the absolute least I can do. I was involved in a rear end motor vehicle road rage accident, where I was falsely accused and ticketed. Jason was the only lawyer who said that he would try for the best case scenario. He was realistic with me and informed me that I may not rec...eive the best case scenario but he would at least try. Every other lawyer stated that it would be unlikely for me to even come close to the best case scenario. Well, I decided to hire Jason. I am so happy I did, as he secured a full dismissal on my behalf! That's right a FULL DISMISSAL! I am a realistic person so I was not expecting this, even though I was not at fault. Firstly I should say that I am just at the beginning of my case with Jason as my representative and I have no idea what the outcome will be....regardless, I have been moved to write a review. The second thing I'd like to share is that I've only retained one other lawyer in my life but want to share t...he stark contrast between the two. My first lawyer I hired to help with figuring out a custody agreement, each time I spoke to that lawyer I felt as though I had to re-tell my story every single time we spoke. I would often question myself why I hired that lawyer and felt that he was just sucking my bank account dry. In June of 2020 I was desperately needing a lawyer and did a google search because that was the best place I could start. I believe there was something about "empathy" in the little summary for Susan Fuller & Associates, PC when google pulled up a list of possibilities. I decided to give them a call. I had my heart set on a female lawyer because I thought that a woman would understand me better. When I called I arranged a consult for that day with one of his female colleagues. Later that afternoon I received a call from Jason explaining that there was a discrepancy in the schedule and that the woman I was expecting to consult with wasn't available so Jason was there to start me off. He stayed on the phone with me for over two hours hearing my story, answering my questions, and being genuinely supportive and I hadn't even hired him yet! Jason is incredibly insightful and has a very good read on people. He told me exactly what I needed to hear. Not what I wanted to hear but what I needed to hear. I also appreciate that he has never been like a car salesman who will say anything to sell the car. One thing I've appreciated the most is that he didn't make me any promises and was very careful to not say anything if he wasn't 100% sure about. On a human level Jason is a good person, he strongly stands up for the truth of the matter but in a very intentional and calculated manner. I love that he often says "I am playing chess, not checkers". I have put my complete trust and faith in his work. I have appreciated not only how he has developed a connection with me but he also has taken the time to make connections with the other people involved in my case. Again, we are at just the beginning of my case and I feel so so confident that Jason has my best interest in mind. If you retain Jason Landress, you've made the right decision. I will always be referring him because it is so refreshing to feel a genuine human connection.
