My experience with Curtis Walton Law particularly Danielle Curtis and Wade Walton was unprofessional and disappointing. I retained them for a wrongful death case and signed a contingent fee agreement expecting basic communication and follow through. Instead, I encountered silence, disregard, and dism...issiveness. After weeks of no response, I finally received a text from Danielle saying she was “literally sleeping” and that client texts should only be used for emergencies. I was in a different time zone, left waiting for updates on a case I trusted them to handle. Their firm email eventually started bouncing. Only after I sent a formal demand did Wade Walton respond abruptly withdrawing from the case and admitting they had never contacted the defendant or taken any meaningful action. I was left without representation and lost valuable time on a sensitive matter. If you expect professionalism or accountability from your legal team, look elsewhere. I would not recommend Curtis Walton Law.

After multiple follow-ups over weeks with no ...meaningful update, I received a dismissive text from the attorney saying they were “literally sleeping” and that client texts should only be for emergencies. Meanwhile, I was in a different time zone waiting for answers on a case I trusted them to handle. I later discovered their firm email was rejecting messages, and only after sending a firm final notice did I receive a sudden withdrawal email from Wade Walton stating they were backing out and had never even initiated contact with the defendant. This left me without representation and wasted valuable time on a sensitive and emotional case. If you’re looking for a responsive, communicative, and professional law firm this is not it. I would not recommend Curtis Walton Law to anyone who values transparency, accountability, or timely communication.
