2015 tax return issues
Mr Montoya helped me to resolve my 2015 tax return and refund issues. He was very professional; he explained the process in a way that I could understand.
"Mr. Montoya is one of the best tax attorneys in the region. From the beginning, he managed to finish at the top of his class while working at the university's tax clinic full-time. Upon graduation, the I.R.S. Office of Chief Counsel's Office in Denver originally wanted to hire him as a tax litigator, but Robinson & Henry, PC was fortunate enough to offer him an associate tax attorney position. While at Robinson & Henry, Mr. Montoya quickly mastered the basic fundamentals of tax practice within a month, and began working on the most complicated cases. At that time, Mr. Montoya negotiated with the I.R.S. Chief Counsel's office on one of the largest cases on the 2016 Denver Tax Court Trial Docket. As Mr. Montoya's supervisor, I have personally seen him negotiate with difficult revenue officers, examiners, IRS Appeals Officers, and Chief Counsel Attorneys to get fantastic results."
"I worked with Mr. Montoya on various tax related matters. He is a zealous advocate for his clients and obtains results. His clients enjoy working with him, as he effectively communicates with his clients, and ensures they receive a fair result. Overall, Mr. Montoya is a fair and honest advocate for his clients."
"It's a pleasure to work with Matthew. Matthew is an ambitious, customer focused, innovative and dedicated perfectionist. Hardworking and proactive. No matter how complex the problem is, he will always come up with a brilliant, elegant, and cost-effective solution. Matthew definitely shines in a fast-paced environment."
