Will Bill You Twice For Work Not Done

I retained Attorney Mark Galler to represent me in my divorce with the expectation that I would receive competent legal advice, clear communication, diligent advocacy, and transparent billing. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of those expectations. Throughout the representation, I repea...tedly raised concerns about the handling of my case. One significant issue involved temporary spousal maintenance. I was advised that a motion for temporary maintenance would be pursued, but no motion was ever filed. When I later questioned why this had not been done, I was told it was because I supposedly did not want to spend the money to file the motion. This explanation was an outright lie, and was only provided after I expressed concerns about my representation. Communication was another ongoing problem. Rather than addressing my concerns directly, I often felt they were dismissed. The billing practices caused me serious concern. I discovered I had been billed twice for the same mediation, with two different amounts. After I questioned the duplicate charges, I received a revised invoice without any explanation of how the duplicate billing occurred, why two different amounts had been charged, or how the corrected amount was determined. Perhaps the most troubling experience occurred when I later listened to a recording of one of our conference calls and realized another individual had been present during the call without ever being identified or disclosed to me. Because confidential attorney-client matters were being discussed, I found the lack of transparency deeply concerning and it significantly undermined my trust in the representation. Based on my experience, I have filed for attorney fee arbitration and am preparing to pursue a legal malpractice claim. My concerns extend beyond the outcome of my divorce and involve communication, billing transparency, and the quality of the representation I received. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Attorney Mark Galler or the Andrew Bryant Law Firm.

Lack of Communication, Prolonged Delays, and Unnecessary Legal Fees

I am extremely disappointed with my experience working with this attorney. Unfortunately, I did not receive the level of professionalism, communication, or advocacy I expected. Throughout my case, communication was minimal and often required repeated follow-ups on my end. I was rarely updated on p...rogress, and important questions went unanswered for extended periods of time. Instead of working efficiently toward resolution, the process felt unnecessarily prolonged, which resulted in additional legal fees without clear justification. Most concerning was the lack of accountability. When issues were raised, there was no acknowledgment of the delays or the financial impact they had on my situation. A simple explanation or apology would have gone a long way, but neither was offered. Legal representation requires trust, transparency, and timely communication. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those standards. I cannot recommend this attorney based on my experience.
