This attorney failed to file discovery on my case, failed to subpoena evidence requested and advised me she was going to withdraw from my case about 15 days prior to my permanent hearing orders court date because I owed her a balance of slightly over $2000, never once raising the issue of money befor...e just making me feel like she had no care in the world about me as a struggling single mother going through the hardest time of my life. After making a payment of $400.00 she filed a lien on any marital assets. Never once have I avoided making payments to pay of this balance asap. I warn any person that unless you have a credit card with a high limit, don't expect her to work your case past filing the initial paperwork. As the last review ends ... .Beware.....

Michele was recommended to me by a friend for whom she had helped gain custody of his daughter. She was kind, knowledgable, and always rationale. Divorce and child custody are tempestuous times. While she was sympathetic, she never let me have false hopes or do things out of spite -- she kept my daug...hter as the focus. While she certainly is not cheap, she is not the most expensive lawyer out there either. We worked together for approximately three years as my ex- continued to routinely file against me. I was very satisfied with her services!

we told her from the beginning that we filed papers incorrectly and wanted a DNA test only to have her say later we didn't hire her for that. She withdrew herself from the case after charging us almost $800 to "check" our financial documents for child support. At the end she didn't have anything for ...the child support done and after paying her that amount we had to do everything in regards to the child support. The post office gave out the refund check to the wrong address, wrong person. I reached out to Michele asking her place a stop payment and have the check resent. Michele only answered she had mailed the check and that wasn't her issue. Later after we tracked down the check we found out it was a business check made out from her account. She could have easily placed that stop payment and sent out a new one. I feel like Michele only cares about the money. Really really regret hiring her!
