I was petitioner in a very difficult divorce case that dealt with jurisidction between two states, the issue of domestic violence, custody, and my ex was active duty military, so I also had that aspect. Ms Denson was extremely helpful in taking my case apart piece by piece and focusing on a piece at... a time. She was an excellent listener and helped steer me in the direction I needed to be in. If she did not have answer to a part of my case, she researched it and helped find an expert who could help me. She let me participate in the direction and research of my case. I was very particular about selecting an attorney because I had a high conflict divorce. I wanted to find a lawyer that worked with me well and was very familiar with Denver County court and how they are likely to rule given my circumstances. I was impressed as to how well Lucy and her staff was up... to date on the statues and how the court would likely rule on them. Many times Lucy quoted from memory the answer to my very specific questions. I was also very impressed with how well the staff prepared for my hearing. Another challenge Lucy and her firm faced with my case was dealing with false accusations about my ability to parent. Lucy helped me prove to the court that I was a fit parent by having a well prepared case the the appropriate witnesses. Another great attribute about this attorney is her "bed side manner". She was very patient and kind in talking to me. Many lawyers do not have the patience to explain and interpret the Colorado Revised Statutes as they apply to my case. Lucy was also willing to brainstorm with me as to the best ways to make our arguments. My previous experience with lawyers did not include being a part of putting the case together. Lucy argued what I wanted her to argue. I feel because we worked together so well, the court ruled very much in my favor which resulted in my being able to be the Father my kids deserve. Without Lucy, I'm not sure the court would have been able to discern the truth in my case and may have sided with my x-wife.

My divorce was unexpected but very necessary. When I started calling around speaking with different attorneys Ms. Denson is the only person that responded with a warm heart.
