Biography
Bridget Finn is deeply passionate about empowering individuals and families to successfully navigate changes and challenges in life. Her professional philosophy is shaped by an educational background in psychology and community service experience with AmeriCorps. These two formative influences sparked her desire to help individuals create meaningful change. Additionally, being exposed to father’s family law practice as a child and young adult, she saw firsthand the impact of prioritizing people and relationships in emotional legal matters and aim to reflect that in her practice.
Bridget prioritizes empathy, active listening, and collaborative problem-solving to humanize the legal process and bring tailored solutions to clients regarding divorce, child custody and support, property division, and other family law matters. With over a decade of experience and certification in collaborative divorce and mediation, she understands that family law has many complexities, but it can often be resolved without animosity. Bridget is committed to providing each of her clients with personalized support, guidance, and a safe space to gain confidence and achieve their goals.
Bridget co-founded Solutions Based Family Law with the vision to help families navigate a better way forward, offering high-quality personalized service and tailored solutions, creating a more compassionate and effective experience with family law through collaborative practices, creative problem-solving, and a client-centered approach. She brings a problem-solving mindset to family law casework, emphasizing realistic expectations, normalizing learning, and engaging in challenging conversations with understanding and patience. Bridget strongly emphasizes communication in her practice, not only when working with clients to solve domestic legal issues, but also between attorneys and litigation teams to reach solutions efficiently and with the best interests of all parties in mind.
In her spare time Bridget enjoys baking, painting and time outdoors.
