Myka Marie Landry

Myka Landry received her B.A. in 1986, and her J.D. from the University of Denver in 1990.  She is a solo practitioner practicing in the areas of estate planning, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills; elder law; long term care planning (including Medicaid); and probate and trust and estate administration.

Her offices are in Kiowa and Elizabeth, Colorado, but she serves clients throughout Colorado, particularly in Elbert,  Douglas, and Arapahoe counties, as well as Southern Colorado, including throughout the San Luis Valley, Trinidad, Lamar and La Junta. She grew up in eastern Colorado where her family raised horses and cattle.  She currently lives in Kiowa, Colorado with her husband, who comes from a family of wheat farmers.  As such, she has a passion for agricultural and rural communities, and loves to practice in those areas.

Myka does offer visits at the location of the client's choice, as many in the rural areas live far from her location.  She will also meet clients at times that are convenient for them.  She believes that planning is important and she welcomes the opportunity to educate  people about the opportunities available to them.  She wants to make it as easy on them as possible, as she understands that in a busy life, significant planning opportunities often get put off because life gets in the way.

Myka's elder law practice focuses not only on seniors, but on those that love them as well.  She loves to help families navigate the challenges that come with balancing aging parents; children; and sometimes chronic or serious health issues.
