Janie Cox is a great attorney. We first met back in 08 I think when she was working as a paralegal and I was very impressed with her follow up and researching skills. Once she began to practice, I sought her out for a motion to modify and then followed her when she moved firms. I know everyone say...s their case is complicated but I judge mine as that, very special, and a 15 year work in progress due to the changing needs of kids. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to her services knowing they would be well cared for but more importantly, if children were involved, they would be considered a priority and protected. I would also like to say that some here have stated that Janie was not aggressive enough. I disagree and think this is more to do with the client not managing their own expectations. If a client were to expect to get remotely close to 100% of what they want out of a divorce then they are either delusional, ignorant of the law, ignorant of the process and its pitfalls, or all of the above.

Jane Cox is an exceptional attorney, who I highly recommend. I hired her for post decree proceedings, namely, a very ugly custody battle. I read a couple of other reviews where previous clients had complained that she was not aggressive enough. This is exactly what I loved about her. Now don't ge...t me wrong, she was able to get me everything that I asked for (and more)! She is brilliant enough to know when and how to fight for her client's needs. She is not some loud mouth blow horn, and because of that, her reputation within her profession is outstanding. Having gone through such a difficult battle with my ex, I understand very well how high emotions run. Jane saw me at my worst and was able to talk me down and convince me that the high road was always the "right path", especially with children involved. She knew which battles to fight aggressively, and which to let just play out, (and let my ex bury himself). Like I stated earlier, she got me more than I asked for, and I highly recommend her!
