Dan is registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office as well as the Colorado and Arizona bars. As patent prosecution is a federal practice, Dan enjoys the opportunity to represent clients around the country.

With a strong background in computer science, mechanical engineering and project management, Dan is well positioned to embrace a wide range of technologies and has drafted and prosecuted hundreds of patents in such diverse fields as the mechanical, computer, electrical and optical arts, including thin film and semiconductor technologies; roll-to-roll and other lithography procesing technology; Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS); computer hardware and software; Internet and network-related technologies; peripheral device hardware and software; medical devices and diagnostic systems; signal processing components; business methods; manufacturing systems; and an extensive array of mechanical devices. Having formerly served as general counsel and staff engineer with CenterGate Research Group, a think tank in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as formerly being Of Counsel and Partner with two different major firms in Denver, Colorado, Dan is well versed in the values and concerns of clients large and small and is able to appreciate viewpoints from both in-house and law firm perspectives.

Dan has returned to a boutique practice to concentrate on providing high quality services. Over time this permits a time investment with clients that adds significant value to our services.
