I am not local to the Fort Worth area so I was very concerned about choosing a Tarrant County lawyer. My local lawyer made some calls and told me Lynn came very recommended. I was told by my case worker that she was "one of the best" After our initial phone call I knew she was the person I wan...ted on my side. Lynne Milford is an amazing attorney. She really took the time to listen to my needs, and come up with an action plan that would be in the best interest of My Daughter and I. I have hired her twice, once for my divorce, and the second time was for a child support modification. My divorce was a little... difficult because it involved a US Solider that was living in another state. She worked day in and day out to get him served and made sure I was awarded everything my daughter and I was entitled to. My modification was also a great experience. She shows up to court on time, ready to fight for you! She really knows the law, and knows how to fight for everything you deserve in a well professional manner. I didn’t have to do anything but provide the facts and Lynne did the rest. She is the best family attorney that I know and I highly recommend her for any legal issues that arise.

I was happy with Lynne's work when I hired her to represent me through a custody battle. Clearly, going through the beginning phase of a divorce once you've decided there's no other alternative, it can be very difficult to face making decisions to proceed. The one place you have to make the BEST choice is hiring a great, not good, but great attorney. As simple as that sounds, you can eas...ily sit through many frustrating consultations, deal with the boxed firms of bean counters and fight through those that see you as a form of monetary gain. I felt like that was going to be the case for me until I found Lynne Milford. I am a father of four and was already quite overwhelmed when the process began. Initiating the divorce wore me out emotionally. Once I met with Lynne, it was very apparent she would be able to help me far better than any of the previous ten Attorneys I consulted. Lynne made me feel comfortable immediately. She was thorough and expeditious to establish the path forward and did an excellent job along the way informing me what was happening and why. Trust me, it goes a lot deeper than you may think to be the best prepared you can be. Lynne took great care of my prep and did great keeping me engaged and up to speed along the way. She also had some great suggestions I hadn't considered relating to my personal well-being and that of my four kids. She showed her care for those in my family impacted by the divorce and was very straightforward with things I needed to do for myself and the kids. She didn't do it from a book, it came from her experience, heart and professionalism and I felt that through the entire process. I was impressed with how smartly Lynne pulled together different plans to address the various problems and issues we faced along the way. She has deep experience and a fantastic personality. She's tough where she needed to be and she will fought intelligently and vigorously for me. There were a couple occasions I let my emotions get the best of me and I wanted to pursue things in a slightly different way. It had nothing to do with how Lynne was handling my case, it all came down to my lack of understanding. Once Lynne patiently spelled it all out for me, it made complete sense and I was very happy to listen to her and place my trust in her. As there are a million Lawyer jokes in the world and so many conceptions that all Lawyers are in the business strictly for themselves, I found this to be absolutely different with Lynne and her personnel. They make it a point to demonstrate that when it's your time, it's about you and it's about getting you taken care of. I never felt rushed and I never felt like I was being forced into anything I was uncomfortable with. Also, not once did I feel like Lynne did anything to just ring up my bill or to gouge me for anything. And, for what it cost me monetarily to complete my divorce, it was a fantastic price compared to what I have read and heard others have spent to end up unhappy with their results. I was very happy with the cost and my results. If you're reading this in consideration of hiring an attorney for your divorce, I say first that I am sorry you're facing this. I know it's very hard, especially at first, but if you'll take my advice and at least consult Lynne, I am confident you will find everything I've said to be true. You will have enough to deal with emotionally, so having someone that you can put your full trust in while dealing with the emotion and difficulty will truly help put your mind at ease. Lynne will do that for you. Now that I am past the hard part and moved on, I am happily remarried, we have six kids between us and all of us are living happily ever after. In all of this, we have a family friend in Lynne. There will be occasions even after it's all done when you'll need a few questions answered or some further advice and Lynne remains a great person on your side to help you even months and years later.
