Lyda A. Ness-Garcia

I hired Lyda about 8 months ago for my divorce and custody battle. Ever since day one Lyda and Gina have been attentive to my every need even in days of desparation they took the time to talk to me either over the phone or via email. I always received a response in a quick and timely matter. Lyda rep...resented me in court like no other attorney, she was well prepared had all the right questions and answers, and with time I was appointed 50/50 split joint custody of my daughter with no primary custodian. As a single father at the time I couldn't have asked for better representation. I will be highly recommending Lyda to my friends and family.

I have been going through a very rough child custody battle. Had another attorney but Fletcher I want being represented right I switched to Mrs. Garcia and she had made me feel more comfortable. Her staff is always fast to responses every time . I am not done with this battle but Mrs Garcia has been ...great.

I hired Lyda Ness Garcia to represent me after a friend referred me to her, I was going through child custody modification to obtain custody of my children and she delivered. She is super quick to respond to emails and is very knowledgeable in her field. You might have to obtain some paperwork yourse...lf such school records etc. , but if you’re really interested to retain or win the custody then you need to do your part as well. Wait until you see this lady in action “WOW” this is where she shines, she left no doubt in my mind that she knows her stuff. Not only that she is also honest my friend also hired her and she told him it did not look and gave him his options. Other attorneys are only interested in the money and they will tell you that it will be a sure win and then show up to court and they will lay an egg. Do you yourself a favor and at least go talk to her before you hire someone.

I am not sure what the other negative reviews on here are talking about because what I have experienced with Lyda is drastically different. I can understand why she she is misunderstood sometimes, but make no mistakes about it this women knows this area of the Law very well and will fight tooth and n...ail for her clients. An attorney with her sort of loyalty to her clients doesn't always win favor with a lot of people within the profession, but she does have the respect of the judges and her peers because she keep them on their toes. I have seen her in court a few times and attended a few lectures she has given, before deciding to hire her as my own attorney in a modification case. She guided me though every step of my case and she is very attentive and returns my e-mails promptly. Phone wise it may be harder to reach her but she is excellent at responding to e-mails. When you meet with her she focuses on the task at hand and is very efficient at laying out a plan to deal with your issue. You will not feel like your wasting time at any moment with her. She has a great assistant, Gina and together they really help to put your mind at ease and take away a lot of the stress that goes along with Family Law issues. Having some legal knowledge myself I am able to really see the caliber of her work, from the moment she showed me her initial draft I knew I had the right attorney. She is compassionate and always a professional, and will try to negotiate at all times, but if you make her have to go to court better have a dam good attorney on the other side. She is expensive, but never have I felt like I wasn't getting quality representation and no price can beat that assurance. She has proven herself to be what she charges and more. When it comes to your Family Life make that investment. I lost more hiring a cheaper lawyer in the past, I wish I would have known what caliber of lawyer to look for in the past and LYDA is it.

Can she win over a jury or what. Very aggressive in court; comes across as professional who knows her stuff. She is Board Certified and I am told in her field this is rare. She will fight tooth and nail. Had to go through several attorneys before I could find someone to finally win my case which she... did. She also looks out for what is best for the children and advised me on her opinion of what she felt was best for my kids but will not impose it on the case if you do not want to take her advise. Very client oriented. Sweet lady in person but in court she is a bulldog.
