You get what you Pay for.

Two important things in life, your health and your freedom. I was desperate after hiring the firm. Attorney would never show up, and I was getting desperate for my son. He told me "The waiting is actually better for your son" "Hold on let me find out where . . ." He then proceeded to get into the ...elevator with his entourage of women helpers, all very attractive but no experience, except for one, and literally left me standing. I waited for an hour in the court, and never heard from him or his partner. His partner spoke to my son 1/2 an hour before final sentencing and that was the end of that. He had promised a 2 year sentence, he received 5. Waited for 9 months, and no credit was given. He didn't even ask to give my son credit for all the time he waited.

TOTAL BALONEY

I hired Wyatt due to an arrest for DWI and figured he would do an outstanding job on my case based on his so called prowess on the court...boy was I wrong. As referenced by the other clients, this firm never called me other than to ask when I would make a payment, they dragged me around the legal sys...tem and postponed my hearings for months which resulted in undue hardship. i ended up paying him $2500.00 for nothing and ultimately gave up, fired this guy, and hired a "real' competent lawyer. This guy and his partners are total pieces of crap that prey on desperate individuals that decide to use his services like me. I made a mistake in choosing his representation and only 'warn" the rest of you not to do it too.

Bad Law Firm

I hired Dereck to help me dismiss my case, I walked in telling him about everything that had happened the day I got arrested. The staff is made up of beautiful women so that they can entice you to use their shitty services. So I sit down with him and he has a good vibe, he felt confident about my cas...e, but don't let his enthusiasm fool you. (I was arrested for POM > 2 oz in August of 2012) He told me that he could dismiss it because I was a first offender, and the search procedure wasn't followed by the cop . So I gave him $800 overtime. I didn't meet with him until yesterday and told me he could not dismiss it since there was a lot of evidence towards me. Really?! I TOLD HIM THE MARIJUANA WAS IN MY POCKET!! I guess he has Alzheimer's or doesn't pay attention... The day before my court he tells me that he is going to have to PLAY with my case? I am not going to wait 2 to 3 years, possibly more, just to get it dismissed, that is why people hire lawyers, so they can do they're job and not have to say "I am going to have to play with your case for the next 2 to 3 years." And on another note, my mom decided to talk to him and he told her that I provided all the facts, and that I cannot have my case dismissed whenever I want. Which goes to show how much respect, loyalty, and honesty that 'Man' has. So I hired another attorney who can push the Motion to Suppress Date even sooner than 5 months from now and . I do not recommend Dereck Wyatt because he is disrespectful and sarcastic. Listen to others that don't recommend this Law Firm, I DIDN'T and now look where I am at. $800 deep...

Bad rating

His services were of no use. He was unproffesional and so was his staff. I dont recommend him. I thought I would try him because of his cheap price but his services were cheap as well

Stay away! You are better off without an attorney.

I hired Dereck Wyatt to represent my brother in a criminal case a few years ago. Instead of defending my brother, Dereck scared my brother and convinced him to plea guilty, with out consulting with me. My brother got an 8 year sentence for something that he did not commit. He was the driver in a case... in which his friend was selling to an undercover officer. The money and the goods being exchanged where fake and there was no evidence that my brother had any previous contact or involvement prior to the arrest in this case. My brother had probation for a previous case, he was afraid to get 20 years like Dereck Wyatt stated he might get, so he pleaded guilty for a crime he did not commit. Dereck his attorney suggested he should plea so he could get 8 years and serve them in 2 with parole. The unprofessional-ism and lack of ethics gets worse, not to prosecutor was his ex wife, which he kept talking about and seemed to have a great relationship with. Cant help to wonder if he played with my brother's life to make the ex wife look good or just to make a quick buck and avoid trial. I had to go back an hire another attorney in order to reduce the term to 5 years, in which my brother served 4 years. Save your money turn around!
